La Confianza Digital y su Rol en el Desarrollo de Negocios


La necesidad de fortalecer los canales digitales buscando la constante innovación en la experiencia del cliente es uno de los aceleradores detrás del crecimiento sostenido en el consumo de los servicios de nube en Latinoamérica, 31% en el 2020, y en sí mismo de la digitalización de la infraestructura que soporta los negocios.

En este sentido las organizaciones necesitan repensar el modelo de consumo de soluciones de seguridad de tal modo que les permita proteger las cargas de trabajo que residan en la nube y una data que está cada vez más dispersa.  En la región se estima un crecimiento de 41% en seguridad asociada a servicios de nube.

Adicionalmente, necesitan establecer un programa más amplio y que les permita desarrollar un nivel de confianza con sus socios y clientes en la búsqueda de una relación comercial que se sostenga en el tiempo.  Ya en el 2020, en Latinoamérica, la construcción de programas de Confianza Digital se encontraba dentro de las 3 principales prioridades de los CEOs.

Bio

 As a Senior Analyst for IDC Perú and Latin America, Carlo leads IDC’s security-related consulting projects as well as the Security Appliance Tracker research in the region, working closely with the rest of the team in the investigation processes where the market is measured, potential scenarios are evaluated and trends are forecasted.

The markets where Carlo focuses on, when doing his research, are Security Solutions, Security Services, Communications Infrastructure, Enterprise Network Infrastructure, Data Center Services among others. The Security Services research includes security consulting, security implementation, security operation, security education & training and other security services.

Carlo is recognized as an expert on the IT and Telecom markets, he identifies market trends, participates as a speaker in industry events and his opinion is often quoted by specialized media.

Prior to joining IDC, Carlo worked in the private sector, gaining an extensive experience in market research and consulting projects in areas such as Marketing, Research and Commercial.

Carlo is a Cum Laude Graduate student from University of Lima, majored in Marketing. In addition, he has a Diploma in Marketing and International Commerce from Adex. He is currently doing a second major in Marketing, also at University of Lima. Furthermore, he has strong technical and management abilities, fluency in English and knowledge of Portuguese.
