Device-Based Licensing

WhatsUp Gold Premium Edition

Element based switch

Why settle for this…

With competitors, you pay by the interface or ‘monitor’. That means you have to figure out how many interfaces you want to monitor on each device. Often, they’ll tell you that ‘you only need to monitor a few interface per device’. Our question is ‘why compromise’?

Device based switch

…when you can have this?

With WhatsUp Gold’s device-based licensing you get maximal network monitoring coverage with less effort. Just decide what devices you want to manage and we make it simple from there. You pay by the number of devices you monitor and can apply as many monitors as you need.

Point-Based Licensing

WhatsUp Gold Total Plus Edition

You purchase the number of points you need (a tier) and allocate them to fit your needs.

Frequently Asked Pricing Question

Why is there no pricing listed?

WhatsUp Gold offers device-based licensing models (shown above) with multiple tiers and add-ons such as Network Traffic Analysis and Log Management. These models allow us to tailor WhatsUp Gold to meet your specific environment size and monitoring requirements. For that reason, list pricing makes no sense.

To accurately estimate costs, we require a better understanding of your environment. We recommend a short meeting with a product matter expert to align the solution to your exact needs.

That said, the cost of WhatsUp Gold is highly competitive for the industry due to our device-based pricing and the use of points for the Total Plus Edition. Many of our customers take advantage of this flexibility, adjusting their product mix over time, adding scalability pollers, add-ons and points as their IT infrastructure complexity grows.
