With Over 700 Nominations, Jeanne Hopkins is Shortlisted for Global Leader of the Year for Outstanding Leadership, Innovation and Business Success
BURLINGTON, Mass. – Jan. 17, 2018 – Jeanne Hopkins, Executive Vice President and CMO at Ipswitch®, the leader in award-winning and easy to use file transfer and network management software, has been named a finalist in the 2018 Women in IT Awards, the world's largest tech diversity event, in the Global Leader of the Year category. More than 1,100 business and tech leaders will convene at the fourth annual gala ceremony on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 in London to further the cause of improving diversity and inclusion in the IT industry. Organized by Information Age in partnership with Amazon Web Services, the awards program is the leading initiative from the tech world to rectify the gender imbalance.

The Women in IT Awards showcases the achievements and innovation of women in technology and identifies new role models for young girls. This year’s awards attracted over 700 nominations. The awards ceremony is hosted in Grosvenor House Hotel’s prestigious Great Room and will be the largest tech-related diversity event, beating last year’s audience of 1,000 and bringing together the industry’s top stakeholders.
Jeanne is a business role model and leader for all women – both young and veteran workers. She leads Ipswitch’s worldwide marketing organization, building a metrics-based powerhouse to fuel demand for the company’s IT management tools, including WhatsUp® Gold network monitoring and MOVEit® secure file transfer. She held executive marketing roles at HubSpot, Symmetricom (now Microsemi), SmartBear, MarketingSherpa and Continuum.
