WhatsUp Gold 2016 SP2 Includes Various Security Improvements
BURLINGTON, Mass. – June 14, 2018 – Ipswitch®, producer of award-winning and easy-to-use secure file transfer and network management software, released WhatsUp® Gold 2016 Service Pack 2 which includes a number of key security improvements. All WhatsUp Gold customers currently on maintenance or who were on maintenance as of the release of WhatsUp Gold 2016 in April 2016 can download it for free from the Community.

WhatsUp Gold 2016 Service Pack 2 adds in-product notifications to the WhatsUp Gold web client and resolves security defects.
In March, WhatsUp Gold 2018 was released with major enhancements, including performance monitoring of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure cloud deployments, Meraki cloud managed wireless systems and Dell Compellent storage devices. Ipswitch’s customers now have an at-a-glance dashboard and an interactive map for visibility into the status and performance of networks, servers, storage devices and applications across on-premises and cloud with a single network interface.
