Ronnie Ray Named Vice President of Marketing and Product Management
LEXINGTON, Mass. ─ December 19, 2011 ─ Ipswitch Inc.’s Network Management Division, developer of the WhatsUp Gold suite of innovative IT management solutions, today announced that it has named Ronnie Ray as its Vice President of Marketing and Product Management. Ray’s highly analytical, entrepreneurial and pragmatic mindset will help him drive market-leading growth at Ipswitch, Inc. in both its current and new sectors.
Ray brings in nearly twenty years of experience in marketing and building technology and software products in both public and private companies, with in-depth expertise in the IT Management industry. For the past three years, he has built up and run a product marketing and strategy consultancy, MarketPlane, which counted Ipswitch among its many clients. In the past, he led InfoVista SA’s marketing and Product Management functions as Vice President. Prior to that, he was a founding member and VP of Marketing and Products at Atesto Technologies, a venture-backed startup that was eventually acquired by InfoVista.
