Ipswitch WhatsUp Gold Network Monitoring Honored by Readers of IP Insider for Third Consecutive Year
BURLINGTON, Mass. – Oct. 23, 2018 – Ipswitch®, producer of award-winning and easy-to-use secure file transfer and network management software, announced WhatsUp® Gold network monitoring is the winner of an IP Insider Readers' Choice Award 2018. Announced by IP Insider in Augsburg, Germany, WhatsUp Gold earned a Silver Award in the network monitoring category. WhatsUp Gold won a Gold Award in 2017 and Silver Award in 2016.
Each of the seven insider portals – IP Insiders, BigData Insiders, CloudComputing Insiders, DataCenter Insiders, Dev Insiders, Security Insiders and Storage Insiders – named up to 10 major IT vendors per category in an editorial pre-selection. Readers then had the opportunity to choose their favorite across 42 categories. IP Insider named three winners – Silver, Gold and Platinum – in six categories. From mid-April to the end of August, nearly 36,000 votes were cast.
“We are honored that WhatsUp Gold consistently earns votes from the readers of IP Insider as a favorite network monitoring solution among IT professionals,” said Sebastien Roques, EMEA Sales Director at Ipswitch. “WhatsUp Gold continues as the choice among tens of thousands of network pros around the world for ease of use, quick issue visibility and resolution, and the industry's best monitoring value.”
WhatsUp Gold allows network managers to get at-a-glance up/down status and performance information for network devices, servers, storage and wireless – whether in the cloud or on-premises. Network teams expand their management tool kit by adding proactive monitoring for network traffic, applications, virtual environments and device configurations – all through the same intuitive interface.
Earlier this year, WhatsUp Gold 2018 was released with major enhancements, including performance monitoring of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure cloud deployments, Meraki cloud managed wireless systems and Dell Compellent storage devices.
