Addresses the following known issues:

  • Tip of the Day file does not exist for first run of the application during evaluation
  • Changing folder while transferring yields error when connection is in use
  • F1 help for “SSL Certificate Creation Wizard” pages are invalid help links
  • Passwords are not being saved when using the “Add to Site Manager” option
  • Accelerators for ”Create Folder” and “Edit” in the Site Manager are not functional
  • URL History is not always accurate

You must be running WS_FTP Home 9.0 to install this patch.

How to update to version 9.01:

  1. Print this page as a reference during the installation process.
  2. Download the file wsftp_home901.exe by clicking on the link under the Download section above. Fill out the form and save the file to your hard drive. We recommend saving the file to your Desktop as it will be easier to locate.
  3. Locate the wsftp_home901.exe file and double-click it to start the installation process.
  4. Follow the prompts on your screen
