What's New in Version 7.0?
Version 7 of WhatsUp Gold offers many new capabilities:
- Ability to Export and Import all map data and device data as ASCII files.
- Colored "Link Lines" that can be used to represent interfaces or other services on the map
- Increased SNMP Monitoring: Constants, Ranges, and Rates.
- Unlimited scripting of TCP/UDP Monitors. Access to the way standard services are checked (POP, SMTP, FTP, etc.)
- Continuous discovery of new devices on your network, along with more refined device typing during discovery.
- Simple ways to discover and monitor multiple interfaces on routers, switches, etc.
- Ability to customize the look of your web interface through web templates.
- Ability to use your computer to 'speak' any notification using Microsoft's Text To Speech Engine.
- Improved Reporting interface.
- Simpler management of Custom Services and Device Types.
- Simpler management of all Alerts for all devices on a map.
