This patch to 2.07:

  • Fixes iDefense Labs IMserver-IDEF 2390- Overwritten Destructor causes IMserve to crash. Does not require authentication to trigger.

Ipswitch Instant Messaging 1.04

This patch to 1.04:

  • Adds the ability to skin the instant messaging client
  • Improves performance of displaying large buddy lists
  • Removes a thread concurreny issue that could cause the server to crash
  • Fixes an issue where new conversations are brought to the front of the desktop even if "Bring window to front on new message" is not enabled.
  • Includes prior 1.0x updates

Ipswitch Instant Messaging 1.03

This patch to 1.03 adds a new client feature that allows new messages to bring the conversation window to the front of the desktop, adds thread pool settings to the Ipswitch Instant Messaging Server Manager and adds an adduser.exe utility to allow creation of users from the command line. Please note that when upgrading the server to 1.03, all clients MUST also be updated.

Ipswitch Instant Messaging 1.02 Free

This patch to 1.02 does the following:

  • A new dialog called Access Control has been added to the IM Server Manager. This change allows the IM administrator separate server and client connection control.
  • IMail database configuration dialog setup has changed to allow you to specify which host aliases you want to associate with the IMail database.
  • Extra steps to set up the IM Server behind NAT are no longer needed.
  • Administrator now has the ability to add new users to the Public Contacts list on the Users page.
