Registered users for the current major version of a product may obtain patches and minor updates within that version. Upgrades to the next major version of a product are only available under warranty or Service Agreement.

IMail Server 7.07 Hotfix 3

Free Hotfix 3 for IMail Server 7.07 updates Iadmin.exe to correct a window placement problem resulting from applying Microsoft security update Q328310 to Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems. Hotfix 3 includes the updates from 7.07 Hotfix 1 which updates iwebmsg.exe so that the user directory and main.mbx will be created if they do not exist when the user logs in and "Enable User Login Suspend" is not enabled. Hotfix 3 includes the updates from Hotfix 2 which updates the LDAP service to fix a buffer overflow which could be used for a Denial of Service attack and corrects SMTP32 handling of the custom header x-rcpt-to line.

IMail Server 7.07

Free Update to 7.07 from IMail Server 7.0 or higher. This patch includes all prior 7.0x updates. In addition it updates: LDAPer.exe to correctly add LDAP attributes from the command line, SMTP32 to properly bind to IP and Web Messaging to create main.mbx if one does not exist upon login, return the user to plogin.html if no user id is entered when logging in and improves the display of quoted-printable encoded messages.

IMail Server 6.06 Hotfix

(250 or Unlimited Users, purchased versions of 6.05 or higher only)

Free This hotfix for IMail Server 6.05 or higher resolves an incompatibility issue with the IMAP4 service and some email clients that include extra spaces in the Content-Type header. It also includes all prior 6.06 patches (IWM6DHF.exe, IMSrvPatch.exe, IM606svs.exe and WebMsgPatch.exe) which include the following updates:  
  • Prevention of a potential Denial of Service (DoS) attack for Web Messaging.
  • A fix to a potential buffer overrun when sending mail to IMailSrv.
  • Correction of an issue with the user authentication routines (SMTPd32.exe, IMAP4d32.exe, and POP3d32.exe) that could cause a correct username and password to be rejected.

IMail Server 6.06

Free Update to IMail Server 6.06 from 6.0 and higher. This patch includes a roll-up of patches made to 6.05. In addition, the patch increases performance and reliability through improved resource usage by SMTP32.exe. It enhances stability by preventing a crash that could occur when sending a message with a long subject through Web Messaging.  It also fixes some subject display issues with the List Server.

5.09 Patch

Free Update to IMail Server 5.09 from 5.03 and higher. Intel only. This update corrects a possible Y2K problem in digest scheduling with the List Server. It also fixes the encoding of the return for a "Fetch Bodystructure" in IMAP4 when the content type is MD5. Complete Revision History.

5.04 Patch

Free Update to IMail Server 5.04 from 5.0, 5.01, 5.02, and 5.03. Intel only. This update fixes the domain level rules, parsing of multi-line non-ASCII from headers in List Server, and the problem with Outlook Express not showing the inbox with IMAP4. It corrects crash if sending to more than 25 users with MailAll.exe, non-reporting of low disk space by IMail Monitor, and the problem with ODBC databases for domains which contain a dash. Complete Revision History.
