Anti-Spam Functionality
- New HTML parser extracts text from the HTML portions of an e-mail message. This enables the text to be examined by the statistical and phrase filter to determine if it is spam.
- The HTML feature filter allows an administrator to configure specific HTML tags that will automatically be indicators of spam. A feature counter can also be configured so that a specific number of HTML features must be found in a message before it is identified as spam.
- The URL Domain Black List searches for configurable domain names in the HTML portions of a message. This is done by searching for domain names within HREF and IMG SRC HTML tags.
- Improved the capabilities of the antispamseeder.exe utility to include: ability to merge two antispam-table.txt files, and the ability to create a URL Domain Black List by extracting the domain names from a mailbox.
