LDAP Server
The LDAP service uses a client/server architecture to publish user information (called "attributes") on the server and provide access to that information from LDAP-enabled clients.
As a Windows service, the LDAP service can run completely hidden or with some feedback. The LDAP server continues to run when you log off the system.
The IMail LDAP server uses OpenLDAP protocol. For complete information on OpenLDAP go to www.openldap.org.
