Summary:

Updates the following:

IMail Server:

  • Rolled up IMail v8.2 HF-1 and IMail v8.2 HF-2
  • SMTPD: Will now correctly start list server to send digest
  • STMPD: Fixed ability to restart queue manager on failure
  • SMTPD: Added server wide connection limit. Uses the following registry key to obtain the setting:
    path=SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\Services\\SMTPD32\\Parameters\
    value=ServerMaxConnections
    type=DWORD
    default value=1000
  • Import Utility: Updated utility to correctly update new columns in WGS database
  • Queue Manager: Add ability to copy previously orphaned files on startup after a queue manager failure.

Instant Messaging:

  • Added the handling of %xx to specify the hexadecimal value for characters in paths
  • Made changes throughout the IM Client and IM Server Manager to properly display Japanese characters

WorkGroup Share:

  • Corrected defect causing "failed to access database" error on Japanese OS
  • Added seconds to the transaction time in the log files
  • Contact followup flags are now synchronized
  • WorkgroupShare now stores a reference to a message file in the database rather than storing a reference in the MIME of the message for the JET database.
  • When the WGS client is uninstalled, the database GUID is now removed from the .PST file so that the Incompatible Database error is not shown when the client is reinstalled.
  • Messages in mail folders now show senders' names rather than the local users' names.
  • If a client is unable to contact the WorkgroupShare server and the server connection box appears, clicking Cancel will now clear the error until the next sync occurs.
