Diane Umukundwa, 7, is the face of success. Starting at a CARE ECD center three years ago she was unsocial and undernourished. Now she is healthy and at the top of her first grade class. CARE started nine Early Childhood Development centers in Rwanda for children 3-6 years old. The ECD centers help improve their nutrition and prepare them for primary school.
