Ipswitch, Inc. Broadens Commitment to Asia Pacific Market with Formation of a New Japanese Entity

Partners SoftBank, ISFnet and KGT to Play Significant Role in Ipswitch's Product Roll-out Strategy

Lexington, Massachusetts - September 11, 2007 - Ipswitch, Inc., a leading developer of network management, secure file transfer and messaging solutions, today announced that it is establishing a new entity in Japan in order to better serve its growing base of customers in the Asia Pacific region. Ipswitch will work with distributor partners, SoftBank and KGT and reseller ISFnet to roll out products in this growing market

"Japan is an important technology center in the region and with the help of our partners we are poised to deliver effective, reliable and dependable solutions to a growing number of customers."

Under the terms of the agreement, Ipswitch will be working with the following companies:

  • Softbank BB, global leading provider of software, hardware and solutions, will be partnering with Ipswitch to distribute and support WhatsUp, Ipswitch’s leading network management software and WS_FTP, Ipswitch’s leading file transfer solution.
  • ISFnet, a Japan-based IT reseller, provides solutions, training and support to it broad range of business customers. ISFnet will be responsible for distributing WhatsUP and WS_FTP throughout the region.
  • KGT, a long-standing partner with Ipswitch, will now focus on distributing the Ipswitch IMail product line. KGT’s business focus is on the development, sales and consulting of computer software.
