Roger Greene founded Ipswitch in 1991. Prior to Ipswitch, Greene was vice president of sales and marketing for FTP Software, a pioneer and leading supplier of TCP/IP software for personal computers. Greene has an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Computer Science from Duke University.
Chief Information Officer
Azmi Jafarey joined Ipswitch in 2005 and brings over 25 years of experience in information technology. Jafarey is responsible for IT and operations, including customer service and project management. His focus is on infrastructure, applications and processes that enable sustained business growth.
Before joining Ipswitch, Jafarey held positions as VP of IT and Customer Services at Vertical Communications, Inc., a leader in the telecom/convergence space. Prior to that he was with Solutia, Inc., a Fortune 500 chemical company, and Monsanto, a Fortune 50 company, where he managed global R&D Computing and Information Services as well as Systems groups. Jafarey has an M.S. degree in Engineering from the University of Massachusetts.
Chief Financial Officer
David Stott joined Ipswitch in 2013 and has responsibility for Finance and Human Resources, as well as providing leadership in implementing and executing the strategic vision. Prior to joining Ipswitch, David was the CFO of SolidWorks Corporation where over a 12-year period he served as Controller, CFO & Treasurer. Under David’s financial leadership, SolidWorks grew from $100M to $500M in revenue and increased profitability from 29% to 43%. David started his career at Polaroid, where over 17 years he had a number of positions, leading to division controller. At Polaroid, David had broad influence in many areas, including domestic and global financial management, marketing planning and analysis, large-scale systems implementations and process improvement.
David holds an MBA from Babson College and a BS in Accounting from Bentley College.
Executive Vice President, Customer Solutions
Ennio Carboni is Executive Vice President of Customer Solutions at Ipswitch where he plays a critical role in accelerating company growth and continued market leadership by helping customers around the world to take what is complex about IT and make it simple. Ennio is the company’s lead strategist to ensure customer success in their use of IT management and file transfer solutions, while leading the worldwide global sales organization.
Prior to his current position, Ennio was president of the Ipswitch Network Management Division where he was responsible for strategic direction and management of the entire business, resulting in 300% revenue growth since he joined the company in 2005. Ennio has a proven track record of connecting with IT professionals to understand their most complex problems and create IT solutions that make their jobs easier to do.
Prior to Ipswitch, Ennio held leadership positions at CA, IMlogic (acquired by Symantec) and RSA Security where he led product development for the company’s most innovative Internet security solutions.
Ennio holds an M.S. in Criminology and an MBA in Business Administration from Northeastern University. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his son and nephews, provides guidance to Northeastern University student admissions, and through the Ipswitch iCare community giving program, Ennio sits on the board of Room to Grow, a non-profit that enriches the lives of babies born into poverty.
President, Messaging Division
Tripp Allen joined Ipswitch in 2000 and brings over 20 years of related experience in technology companies. Allen is responsible for setting worldwide product strategy and overseeing the development and customer acceptance of the Messaging product line at Ipswitch. Allen has focused on integrating emergent technologies and processes into the product line, resulting in a streamlined, innovative and flexible messaging family that meets users’ evolving needs.
Before joining Ipswitch, Allen held software development management positions at several technology companies, including Internet Financial Network and Affinity Technology Group, Inc. He also spent 10 years in the United States Air Force as a systems analyst prior to his work in the private sector. Allen has a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
