Roger Greene

Chief Executive Officer

Roger Greene founded Ipswitch in 1991. Prior to Ipswitch, Greene was vice president of sales and marketing for FTP Software, a pioneer and leading supplier of TCP/IP software for personal computers. Greene has an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Computer Science from Duke University.

Azmi Jafarey

Azmi Jafarey

Chief Information Officer

Azmi Jafarey joined Ipswitch in 2005 and brings over 25 years of experience in information technology. Jafarey is responsible for IT and operations, including customer service and project management. His focus is on infrastructure, applications and processes that enable sustained business growth.

Before joining Ipswitch, Jafarey held positions as VP of IT and Customer Services at Vertical Communications, Inc., a leader in the telecom/convergence space. Prior to that he was with Solutia, Inc., a Fortune 500 chemical company, and Monsanto, a Fortune 50 company, where he managed global R&D Computing and Information Services as well as Systems groups. Jafarey has an M.S. degree in Engineering from the University of Massachusetts.

Ennio Carboni

Ennio Carboni

President, Network Management Division

Ennio Carboni is President of the Network Management division. He is responsible for setting and managing the implementation of the division’s strategic direction and leading its sustainable, profitable growth as a provider of network management solutions for effective management of wired and wireless networks in traditional and virtualized environments.

Ennio joined Ipswitch in 2005 and was a key catalyst for the tripling of the network management division’s revenue as he led product management and later sales and marketing. Ennio has a proven track record of connecting to customers and prospects and using their knowledge and experience to drive product strategy and a culture where every department plays a role in high customer service satisfaction. Prior to Ipswitch, Ennio had leadership and complex product management roles at Computer Associates, IMlogic (acquired by Symantec) and RSA Security where he was part of the original public key infrastructure product team.

Ennio has both a Master of Science in Criminology and a Master of Business Administration from Northeastern University in Boston. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son and volunteers for Northeastern University as an Alumni Admissions advisor and with various non-profit charities through Ipswitch’s Innovative iCare charitable program.

Rich Kennelly

Rich Kennelly

President, File Transfer Division

Rich Kennelly is the President of Ipswitch’s File Transfer division. The goal of the division is to help companies of all sizes to move information (files and messages) between companies, employees, customers, and applications. The value of the Ipswitch FT products is that they ensure the delivery of the information efficiently and securely, while providing visibility and tracking for compliance. The solutions can also automate the delivery of information, as well as validate and transform it. The solutions lead the industry in terms of ease of use, allowing companies of all sizes to take control of their sensitive and vital information, and improve the speed of information flow, without needing expensive consultants to do it.

Rich has a broad technical and business background. Most recently Rich led Akamai’s Media Business Unit – responsible for video, software, and object delivery. While in this role, his team launched the all new Akamai HD Network, a completely new delivery platform for Internet video. They also introduced new audience analytics, allowing media customers to understand the quality of experience and viewing habits of their audience. Prior to that, Rich held numerous roles in his 9 year career at Akamai, including VP of Product Management. In that role he helped bring to market enterprise solutions for accelerating business to business and business to consumer sites.

Rich began his career as a software engineer. He helped found ImagineLAN, Inc., a small startup doing network diagnostics. He was also a key software architect and engineering leader at New Oak Communications – credited with creating the industry’s first VPN switch. He went on to manage engineering for Nortel’s VPN division, after it acquired New Oak.

Rich holds a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Tripp Allen

Tripp Allen

President, Messaging Division

Tripp Allen joined Ipswitch in 2000 and brings over 20 years of related experience in technology companies. Allen is responsible for setting worldwide product strategy and overseeing the development and customer acceptance of the Messaging product line at Ipswitch. Allen has focused on integrating emergent technologies and processes into the product line, resulting in a streamlined, innovative and flexible messaging family that meets users’ evolving needs.

Before joining Ipswitch, Allen held software development management positions at several technology companies, including Internet Financial Network and Affinity Technology Group, Inc. He also spent 10 years in the United States Air Force as a systems analyst prior to his work in the private sector. Allen has a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Frank Girolamo

Frank Girolamo

Vice President, Finance

Frank Girolamo joined Ipswitch in 2007 and brings over 25 years of experience in Finance with focus on operations and planning and a proven track record of organizational development. With responsibility for Finance and Human Resources at Ipswitch, he is focused on building a team that provides strategic, real-time support to operating units through reporting, analysis and different views of data to help the company move forward. Before joining Ipswitch, Girolamo was SVP of Finance and Planning at Grand Circle Travel, Inc. the domestic leader in overseas travel. Prior to Grand Circle, he was with New England Business Service, Inc., as worldwide director of manufacturing finance and administration. Girolamo has a B.S. in Business Administration from Northeastern University.
