Ipswitch Inc. Announces Third Annual Technology Focus Seminar For UK SMES

Tower 42 Chosen As Venue For 26th October Summit

Lexington, Massachusetts - October 6, 2006 – Ipswitch, Inc., a leading developer of network management, messaging and file transfer solutions today announced the schedule for the third annual series of its popular Technology Focus Seminars aimed squarely at owners, managers and IT professionals from small and mid-sized companies. The UK leg of its extensive European tour will be held at Tower 42 in London on the Thursday 26th October. Tower 42 is a distinguished landmark of international recognition that provides superior conferencing facilities.

The Ipswitch Technology Focus Seminar (TFS) will address the challenges and opportunities small and mid-sized businesses in the UK face in understanding and using networking technology, not just from a technology standpoint, but from a business one too.

This year’s TFS will include a keynote address on the subject of using and controlling VoIP in the context of the business network. In addition, Ipswitch and its channel partner Grey Matter will be presenting the latest Ipswitch products and demonstrating their applications for business technology problems such as secure data management, communication, and network discovery and monitoring.

Foremost in the discussions will be on how Ipswitch’s award winning network monitoring suite, WhatsUp Professional can benefit UK SMEs. WhatsUp Professional 2006 delivers application management as well as enhanced network management and monitoring features. The product’s expanded reporting functions, additional standards compliance support and expanded notification options, elevate this offering above any competitive entry anywhere in today’s marketplace.

“COMPUTERLINKS UK has held a fruitful relationship with Ipswitch for several years. Ipswitch is very well positioned in the SME arena and extremely successful at developing solutions for emerging markets,” comments Ipswitch Product Manager at COMPUTERLINKS, Carly Stevenson. “Its secure messaging solutions have been available for a number of years and received a great amount of acclaim. Now Ipswitch is addressing the needs of SMEs with demand for VoIP exploding in the UK.”
