The newest addition to Ipswitch’s line of messaging and collaboration products, IMail Server Plus 2006.1 continues the Ipswitch tradition of building software products that meet the unique needs of SMBs – products that are easy to use, require little or no IT administration, and that deliver a clear and rapid return on investment (ROI).

IMail Server Plus 2006.1 builds on the core edition of IMail Server 2006 by integrating state-of-the-art anti-spam technology that is updated automatically and virtually eliminates spam and false positives (legitimate email messages mistakenly marked as spam). The premium anti-spam technology available in IMail Server Plus 2006.1 includes controls for the frequency of updates, image based spam and faster performance. Bullet Signatures (small, targeted, spam signatures handcrafted by human editors and other proprietary technology) are delivered every 10 minutes, catch spam in more than 30 languages and can be activated with the single click of a mouse. Anti-phishing technology enables users to avoid potentially-fraudulent messages and reduces the chance of users mistakenly surrendering their personal information to untrustworthy sources. Additionally, IMail Server Plus 2006.1 provides management features for setting rules for catching spam containing embedded images.
