Ipswitch Announces Two New Premier Partners
Networking Specialists SICL and Cybis Join up After Channel Push
Lexington, Massachusetts - July 10, 2006 - Ipswitch Inc., a leading developer of network management, messaging and file transfer solutions, today announced the addition of two Premier Partners in VARs Cybis Ltd and Systems Integration & Cabling Limited (SICL). This follows a major push to increase the UK channel presence for WhatsUp, Ipswitch’s award-winning network monitoring tool. Entering its 15th year of business, Ipswitch boasts a number of acclaimed products including WS_FTP, Ipswitch Collaboration Suite and WhatsUp.
Cybis was founded in 1994 and is a Microsoft Certified Partner specializing in network design and installation together with best of breed network and desktop admin and security applications. Cybis is an authorized reseller for many companies including Ipswitch, Sunbelt and the first EMEA ScriptLogic Platinum Partner.
“We became an Ipswitch reseller because its products complement our entire product portfolio, especially WhatsUp Professional which will be an indispensable tool for our existing and future customers,” explains Cybis Managing Director, John Hirst. “We chose to become a Premier Partner because we wanted to make a big commitment to the Ipswitch brand. The Ipswitch products merit the special focus we can provide with the Premier Partner role.”
Leeds-based SICL was founded in 1995 and is a networking specialist. It provides network solutions for clients in both the public and private sectors. SICL is affiliated with a number of software solutions providers including Ipswitch, Cisco and Mitel. As with Cybis, SICL buys Ipswitch’s products through its sole long-term UK distributor, Computerlinks.
“After Ipswitch WhatsUp was recommended to us, we did some investigation and discovered that the product fit in well with what we do as network specialists,” explains SICL Managing Director, Cliff Fox. “We are very pleased to be a Premier Partner as it gives us the ability to attract new customers and as a result, increase our revenues.”
