WhatsUp Log Management v10.2
WhatsUp Log Management Suite v10.2 adds options for improved Syslog message archiving.
WhatsUp Log Management Features
- Added Syslog Direct Write functionality which writes Syslog messages directly to a SQL Server database.
- Added Syslog Write to CSV File functionality which writes Syslog messages directly to .csv files.
Note: The new options for archiving Syslog data support a higher message throughput rate than the previous Syslog Archiving scheme. They do not support automated moving, compression, and purging of archived data files.
Note: For high throughput Syslog archive implementations, we recommend deployment on physical hardware.
