Setting Up Rules

With the Rules feature, server administrators can set up WS_FTP Server to prevent or allow actions based on user ID and/or file masks, and optionally execute a program each time a specific event occurs on the host. The following is a list of these events:

• File deletion attempts
• File upload attempts
• File rename attempts
• File download attempts
• Folder creation attempts
